Free Guide · THE FINWISE™ PRICING WISDOM METHOD.

Most advice practices do a minimum of $80K of free work every year

As your practice has grown, your advice has become broader, more technical and more valuable. Pricing structures rarely keep pace. The Finwise Pricing WISDOM Method™ is a 9-step framework for seeing the value you already deliver, and pricing for it with confidence.

What you'll see

The value you already deliver, made visible

  • See the services your practice already delivers, and isn't charging for.

  • Spot the pricing gaps that widen every time your practice takes on more work.

  • Understand why advisers discount before a client even asks, and the psychology that sits behind it.

  • Show you $1,000 per client you are already doing (and not charging for)

  • Put a realistic number on the revenue your current pricing is missing, between $80K and $350K for many firms.

  • Recognise the full value you deliver today, so your pricing reflects the practice you actually run.

who built it

Built by two people who price advice for a living

The Finwise Pricing WISDOM Method™ was built by Julie Matheson, CFP® and Marie Richardson. Marie works with advice practices on pricing, profitability and revenue capture. Julie's work sits in financial planning compliance, the Code of Ethics and Professional Year supervision.

Both have spent years inside advice firms, building fee-for-service pricing while much of the industry still treated it as radical. They talk to principals as peers, because that is what they are.

What's inside the guide

A focused walkthrough of the Profit Pillar

01

Why advice practices evolve faster than their pricing, and where that leaves work unbilled.

02

The real reason advisers discount, and why it usually comes down to fee confidence rather than commercial pressure.

03

How to uncover the services, complexity and value most firms can no longer see in their own practice.

04

A practical way to estimate the revenue your current pricing may be missing, often between $80K and $350K.

05

Where Strategy and Ethics fit around the Profit work, so any change holds up commercially and against the Code of Ethics.

The opportunity

For many practices, the next lift in profit comes less from finding more clients, and more from seeing the full value they already deliver.

It's free, and it's a practical first step towards pricing that reflects what you actually deliver.

Or bring a real client scenario and we'll work through your pricing with you, using the Finwise™ Calculator.
